Born in Tennessee and raised in Illinois, Lleyna is a born performer. Her parents say that she was acting before she went to kindergarten, and spent her younger years creating short plays and dances for family and friends. Lleyna spent many of her summers with her grandparents in Virginia. She vividly remembers helping her grandmother with her business, and pretending to be different characters each time she met someone new. From her earliest memories, she was always fascinated by acting.
Lleyna performed with many different theatre groups, and modeling jobs before making a decision that acting was the force that would drive her life. At that point she poured her full energy into the craft, walking away from cheerleading, dance, and ice skating, in all of which she excelled. Lleyna continues to benefit from the wise council of many people along the way, and had many great coaches and teachers. Lleyna currently travels over a four and a half hour drive each way, several times a month to train with her current coach, actor Brian Cutler. Currently in High School, she is an excellent and consistent straight A student, and is a member of the National Honor Society for High School Students. She loves math, ceramics and Spanish, as well as her regular classes. While she began as a theater actor, she has found a love of acting for film and television.
Several years ago, Lleyna was excited to be signed with Now Talent Management of Missouri, where she would receive guidance and council that she longed for. She was directed to instructors that taught her to study people, and listen to their stories. She recalls how natural it felt transitioning from theatre to film. Within that first year, Lleyna continued to train and audition for any production that would see her. It took several months to begin getting hired, but her first acting jobs would come back to back quickly and she landed seven auditions in a row including regional and national television commercials. Over the past few years, Lleyna has continued to land major jobs, including national commercials and radio advertisements.
It wasn't long before Lleyna landed a big role in a major national video game release. Her first major role, playing Willow in the adventure game from Magiquest, showcased the young actors drive and determination. The directors and producers gave her considerable reviews and subsequent work. Since that time, Lleyna has appeared in short films, theatre, and television commercials, and educational film.
